3. JAMA SEEKING PAPERS for THEME ISSUE ON ACCESS
TO CARE
In March 2007, the Journal of the American
Medical Association (JAMA) will publish a theme
issue devoted to access to health care to
reinvigorate interest in this pressing topic.
Some Archives journals will also publish theme
issues or include articles on this topic at that
time. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts
on virtually any topic relevant to the issue of
access to health care by Oct. 1.

4. TRIBUTE TO BALFOUR MOUNT
A book of tribute to Balfour Mount will be presented
at the 16th International Congress on Care of the
Terminally Ill. Many of you have already sent your
letters or emails with your thoughts, anecdotes and
memories of Balfour Mount.
For those of you who have not yet sent their messages
and, who would like to participate, we need to have
your letter as soon as possible so that we can begin
to put the 'Memory Album' together.
August 23rd is the very latest date for letters and/
or emails. After that we can't guarantee to include
your letter.
