3. PRACTICAL RESOURCE NOW AVAILABLE FOR
CLERKSHIP DIRECTORS
The Alliance for Clinical Education is pleased to
announce the third edition of Guidebook for Clerkship
Directors is now available as an electronic and
printed book. The updated version of this popular
resource includes six new chapters and 68 different
authors. The third edition is a collaborative
product of the Alliance for Clinical Education
(ACE), a multidisciplinary group comprised of
representatives from national clerkship director
organizations.
The Guidebook provides a single, easily readable,
and practical resource of information for new and
seasoned clerkship directors in all disciplines.
The hallmark of this edition is the electronic format
available at www.allianceforclinicaleducation.org,
which is easy to navigate and search because of Google's
local website search software and direct links. Print
copies may be ordered by downloading an order form
from the ACE website.

+++AAMC seeks submissions for annual RIME conference
The AAMC is requesting submissions for papers
and abstracts to be presented at the 45th annual
Research in Medical Education (RIME)Conference,
which will be held Oct. 27 - Nov. 1, 2006,
in conjunction with the association's Annual
Meeting in Seattle, Washington.
The conference will provide a forum for the
presentation and discussion of research concerning
all aspects of medical education. Submissions must
be received by Feb. 20. Submission guidelines and
forms are available at
