The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has released its "State Snapshots" report, detailing state-specific, quality-related health care data. The information contains areas of strength, weakness, and opportunities for improvement on quality measures, with the goal of helping state officials and their partners better understand health care quality and disparities. In addition, AHRQ recently unveiled a new resource, "Mistake- Proofing the Design of Health Care Processes," containing various tools designed to help providers improve the delivery of care within their settings.
