This audio conference will provide a brief background of the hospice and palliative care macro-level climate in which social workers operate. Speakers Chris Herman, MSW, LICSW and Bekki Ow-Arhus, LICSW, ACSW, DCSW will discuss the NASW credentialing process, developed in partnership with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), as well as the value of the credentials in palliative care practice will be discussed.
